The Old Printworks were a godsend when I went on a last minute trip to Orkney and didn’t have anywhere to stay. I liked being able to check in late at night, it was easy and the owner sent useful instructions and a video how to get in. Bed was comfy, shower was good, everything clean. Handy to fill up my water bottle in the kitchen area each day.
Maybe I’m just old school but I love a wee kettle and tea when I’m staying somewhere. That would be a pleasant addition, and would elevate my stay.

Almost in the middle of Kirkwall. Easy walk to everything.
Not easy to find. The bed needs a skirt to prevent stubbing your toes. Could do with towel hangers.
The approach is difficult first time.
