It was lovely, I felt like a roman, because when you go outside you step directly into roman ruins. Very romantic.
The host was very responsive.
The bathroom could use an update above the tiles. The plaster is turning to dust and falling into the sink and counter. Also you are in the old town so it is a little noisy (this didn’t bother me, but if you have kids it could be a problem). Also there is no window as the building is old so it could be a little claustrophobic if you spend more time in. Not a problem for me as I only slept there

Cristina was a very friendly and kind host, always quick to respond when i had a question. Check in easy and the location is good, at the top end of Bari Vecchia (the old town) and 2 minutes from the promenade and sea.
You're in the old town so be prepared for noise - from tourists walking by the entrance and local families enjoying themselves in the streets. After 11pm I wasn't disturbed. The apartment is basic: bed, fridge, coffee machine/kettle and bathroom. It was disappointing not to have at least a spoon to eat my breakfast cereals with :(
