The apartment itself was lovely, clean and in a very central location, with a nice outdoor seating area. We were very happy with the accommodation
Lovely apartment, but communication could be improved
Unfortunately, it was frustrating that no one replied to my messages before we arrived. I contacted the host via booking.com before our arrival to ask about early check-in, but received no response. When we arrived in Spain, it took over 45 minutes of ringing the office before we were able to speak with someone.
I also wish I had known in advance that there was nowhere to leave our luggage. I have never experienced that before and had assumed, because the apartment was situated within a hotel, that there might be somewhere available. We were eventually told that we couldn’t check in until 3pm, despite arriving before midday. As I was on crutches, having nowhere to leave our bags made the wait particularly difficult.
There was also no information in the apartment explaining how rubbish should be disposed of. We noticed rubbish outside the apartment door and mistakenly assumed this was the designated collection point. A few days later, we received a message saying the host had got into trouble because we had left rubbish outside and were told not to do it again. I explained that clear instructions should have been provided for guests.
With better communication and some basic information provided in the apartment, this could have been a much better experience. The apartment itself was lovely, but these issues could easily have been avoided.

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable.
We had a few small issues but the owners of the property came and were amazing. It has a lovely outside patio for eating and relaxing and we had a wonderful stay.
