Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing and stressful stay.
The apartment was in very poor condition. Many things were broken, the balcony was covered in pigeon droppings, and only one roll of toilet paper was provided for three people. There was also no soap. The bedroom door had broken or missing glass, which meant the room had no privacy and could be seen directly from the main living area. Since the apartment is located on a rooftop, it was also unbearably hot.
We had booked the accommodation for four nights. A few days before our arrival, the host informed us that, due to emergency construction, we would have to move to a different property for the final two nights. The replacement accommodation was much farther away from the location we needed to be in. It also had no towels and only two bedsheets for three guests.
The worst part was the host’s behaviour. When I contacted him to discuss these problems, he began shouting and threatening me with violence. This was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe.
Overall, the accommodation was poorly maintained, lacked basic necessities, and did not match reasonable expectations. Combined with the last-minute relocation and the host’s aggressive behaviour, this was by far one of the worst booking experiences I have had.
