Disappointing stay — basic facilities not working and inadequate resolution from management.

Very disappointing experience. Bedroom 1 did not have proper blackout curtains, and the toilet flush was not working. Maintenance informed us that the issue had already been reported to reception and that a plumber would attend, but the problem remained unresolved during our stay. We were left without a properly functioning toilet despite paying for the accommodation. We were visiting from out of town and expected basic facilities to be working. The 20% discount in one of the cafe was offered was inadequate considering the inconvenience. These issues should have been addressed before guests checked in. Found out from review that flush wasn’t working from September.

Very disappointing stay. The toilet flush was faulty, and the bedroom lacked proper curtains and privacy. Management confirmed a plumber would only attend the next day, despite our one-night booking. Instead of resolving the issues or offering a refund, we were given a 20% discount at a café elsewhere. Poor customer service and unacceptable conditions for paying guests.

Great location

The view and location

There was no aircon or blinds so we were up as soon as the sun was up the window in the kids room was also dodgy and the fan was a hazard where the kids climbed up the bunk bed

I would stay here again as the location was excellent. The main bedroom needs curtains

Location was excellent, although noisy

Guest welcome as in complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. What to do and food directory. Curtains.

Waking up to the amazing beachfront ocean view!! Comfy main bed although a little small (husband slept in the 2nd room), huge living and kitchen area. Super helpful owner that gave great instructions and communication was excellent. Perfect location to everything in Surfers Paradise.

Lack of curtains in living area and bedroom (but I loved wakiing up to the sunrise 🌅).
