A disappointing stay made worse by incorrect location information and poor communication.
Good location. Close to shops (Spinnys). The swimming pool was good, and the gym was acceptable, but there was broken equipment. Relatively quiet, but you do get a decent amount of noise from E611 during the early morning work run.
Unfortunately, our experience with this property and the management company was disappointing.
Before travelling to the property, I noticed that the address/location information we had been provided appeared to be incorrect. I contacted the management team several times, asking them to confirm the correct location before we left. This was particularly important to us because my wife had given birth only five days earlier and we were travelling with our newborn daughter.
Despite raising the issue beforehand, we had significant difficulty locating the property and made several calls and messages seeking assistance. During these conversations, I felt that my concerns about the location were repeatedly dismissed and that the communication I received was unnecessarily disrespectful. It was eventually confirmed that the location information we had been questioning was incorrect.
What made the experience particularly frustrating was that the problem could have been avoided had our initial concerns simply been checked before we travelled.
We subsequently also had a dispute regarding a damage charge after our stay. I requested additional evidence and information regarding the charge before it was processed. In my experience, the requested information was not provided before the money was charged.
I have retained the correspondence relating to these matters.
I would have preferred to resolve everything directly with the management company, but overall the communication and handling of the issues significantly affected our experience with the property.
