This is probably the best accomodation we have ever stayed in. We used every space and almost everything it has on offer. It is an absolute delight for a family. We stayed 5 nights and during that time we went MTB in Maydena, hiked in Mt Field, drove out to Gordon Dam, went for a bit of a FWD and tried out local food. The bike store is very convenient and the roaring indoor fireplace kept the place toasty warm (it snowed up high over two nights) and luxurious on our return. I cooked almost every night and had everything i could have needed (you do need to shop before you arrive as there is very limited food in the village). We watched TV with the kids some nights. Sometime we just looked out the window for hours at the soaring peaks that surround the village and watched the clouds go by. This place is an adventure family paradise and brilliant for down time and relaxation too. It's a must for anyone coming to Maydena!

Extremely comfortable, well set up accommodation with fabulous views from both living areas and bedrooms. An extended viewing of a platypus in the creek at the bottom of the road was one of many highlights over our stay.

All was good.

Perfect location at a very reasonable price, well appointed and comfortable. Loved the fireplace and outdoor fire - would recommended it to all.

A thoughtful renovation, with a lovely wood fire, but also air conditioning, and under floor heating in the bathroom. Big windows in the lounge to take in the surrounding snow capped mountains. Very clean and extremely comfortable, with responsive communication with the host.
