The rooms and entire apartment was excellent in its design and style. We enjoyed the privacy of each of the suites, combined with the family style kitchen. The location was perfect for us, within walking distance to the Vatican and many other sites in Rome, especially if you don’t mind a good walking tour. There were many restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store nearby.
The elevator does not go to and from the entry lobby, which is unstaffed because it is an apartment building. The elevator starts on the first floor, above the entry lobby, thus requiring guests to haul suitcases up to the first floor by ascending a long winding staircase to the landing on the “first floor”. Remember, in Italy, the first floor is equivalent to the second floor in the USA.
In addition, the espresso machine, which was the main feature of the app,Ian es on the counter, did not work. When I alerted the owner of the problem, including all of the troubleshooting we had done to make it work, she stated that she would replace it the next day. On the next day, she left a second used, not new, espresso machine, obviously without even trying it out. The same exact problems were found on this machine, which I suspect the owner knew about anyways. When I complained again, she stated that it could not be repaired in time before our departure. This was a lame excuse for her not wanting to fix the espresso machine. During our stay we were cooking breakfast for our group in the kitchen, yet we were unable to enjoy an espresso with our meal.

The host and owner, Cynthia, was accomodating and though this is the first time she met us, she trusted and let us check in early, even my other friends were not there yet.allowed us to send copy of our passport via whatsapp and let us just leave the payment for city tax on the table before checking out.
