The apartment has a stunning view and is lovely to spend time in with a great sense of space. Main bed is very comfortable. Fold out sofa was fine for our child. Full kitchen to cook at home. The lounge room and bedroom are the winners in the apartment. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful and we would definitely be happy to stay again. We could walk into the city or through the botanical gardens to the opera house in about 15mins. Lovely spot to walk from and not feel like you are in a big city.
If you are a light sleeper then you may hear the noise of the restaurant below (but noise didn’t go until late) or the people waking around in the place above or the people in boats talking on their cab radio early in the morning.
The kitchen and bathroom were perfectly fine but are probably due some minor maintenance or upgrading.
The front part of the building/adjoining hotel is having works done but it didn’t effect our stay.
