WORST STAY OF MY LIFE
Nothing. This was one of my worst experiences ever
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - REGARDING YOURLOCALEXPERT IT Team -
What happens Ith this host has never happened to me in hundreds of bookings on different holidays.
The host was extremely rude and unprofessional. She came to the apartment three separate times, pressuring us to leave because she had mistakenly taken us to the wrong apartment in the first place, something she only realized after 1 day, we already settled in the apartment. And instead of owning up to her mistake and allowed us some time to find another solution she fired up and did many terrible things including calling the police to threaten us.
From our very first conversation, she was rude and immediately blamed and accused us for a situation that was entirely caused by her own mistake. Despite the fact that we were actively communicating with both her and Booking.com to try to find a reasonable solution, she did not even give us a few hours to sort things out.
The only solution she repeatedly proposed was cancellation with extremely high fees—amounting to approximately half of the total booking price—which obviously made it much more difficult for us to simply cancel and find alternative accommodation at such short notice.
What was most shocking was that, only a few hours later, while we were still actively trying to resolve the situation with Booking.com, she actually called the police to have us removed from the apartment that she herself had taken us to by mistake (thank god we have already left the apartment).
Instead of taking responsibility for her error and giving us a reasonable amount of time to find another place, she treated us as though we had caused the problem. The entire situation was unnecessarily hostile, stressful, and handled in an extremely unprofessional manner.
