The breakfast was adequate but not spectacular but we only had it once as the coffee and pasticherria in Palermo is out of this world, so chose to have breakfast out.
We liked everything. The hotel is down a little alley just a short work from the city centres two main streets. It is a no frills type hotel but had everything we needed for a city break and a fantastic mini bar and wine selection in the room which was very reasonably priced. The rooms were super clean and the bed and bedding very comfortable. Below our room there was a mobile type pizza oven in the evening and the pizza was amazing and cheap. There is also a lovely bar and restaurant in a tiny square directly outside the hotel.
