Unacceptable accommodation – I would not recommend it to anyone!
Unacceptable accommodation – I would not recommend it to anyone!
After a 13-hour drive, we arrived at the accommodation and were shocked by the condition in which we found it.
The property was clearly not ready to receive guests. The beds had not been made, and the bedding was left crumpled on the mattresses. Some of the furniture was partially dismantled, drawers were left open, and furniture panels were scattered around the rooms. One electrical fitting was hanging out of the wall, raising serious safety concerns. There was even rubbish left in the bin.
And all of this in accommodation that we had booked and paid €470 for!
We immediately contacted the host, who promised to arrange cleaning. We spent nearly two hours trying to resolve the situation. However, by 10 p.m., after a 13-hour journey, we were no longer willing to wait indefinitely for an uncertain solution.
We informed the host that we would not stay at the property under these conditions and requested a full refund. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the host simply hung up on us during our final phone conversation.
In the end, we had no choice but to find alternative accommodation, which cost us an additional €733.
What makes this situation particularly frustrating is that we were not expecting luxury or any special treatment. We simply expected clean, tidy, safe accommodation that was ready for guests upon arrival. Surely, that is the bare minimum anyone should expect when booking a place to stay.
We documented the condition of the property with photographs.
I strongly advise others to avoid this accommodation. When guests book and pay for a property, it should be clean, safe, and ready for use upon arrival. They should not have to spend hours making phone calls just to have somewhere suitable to sleep.
This was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience, and I would never book this property again.

Absolute Scam and Health Hazard – Do NOT Stay Here!
This place is a total nightmare and a dangerous scam. From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong: we were given wrong entry instructions for an confusing door marked with duplicate numbers, and the access code didn't work. The host only answered once to fix it, but as soon as we tried calling later to report issues, he completely ghosted us and ignored/blocked our calls—just like he did to other guests downstairs who confirmed the exact same treatment.
The building entrance was filthy, with the top-floor staircase covered in pigeon droppings. We even got trapped on the stairs for 30 minutes by a pigeon perched on the handrail that refused to move. Inside the apartment, the air was hot, suffocating, and unbreathable, yet we couldn't leave windows open for fear of pests coming in. Key amenities listed were completely missing: there was no sofa, no microwave, and no iron. The TV was broken with a burnt remote control, and the Wi-Fi router was left lying on the floor with no password provided anywhere.
The conditions were repulsive. The kitchen, stove, oven, vacuum, and windows were filthy. The bathroom was disgusting with peeling enamel and a defective toilet where urine pools in a groove. All the bedrooms had doors but the one whit the bathroom didn’t have any door expect the bathroom one. Worst of all, the beds were infested with dust mites and visible mite eggs! The pillows weren't even real pillows, but just random rags stuffed into pillowcases. We had to throw all the bedding on the floor, sleep without pillows, and use our own clothes and scarves just to avoid touching the mattresses.
This entire building is an unhygienic, neglected hazard. Avoid this place at all costs!
