Location was beautiful and it was great to have the steam train railway outside our front door and Dalgarth Train Station a short walk down the railway track.
We liked the Cottage very much the beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean and tidy, the host left tea, coffee and Milk for our arrival.
I would recommend this cottage and would visit again.
Great local pubs which were very welcoming and great food and drink.

We loved the peaceful location and stunning views. However, please be aware that it is quite far from any shops or other amenities. Parking is available, but the access and parking space are better suited to smaller cars.
We were disappointed by several aspects of our stay. Having to chase the agent for the door code was particularly frustrating. Despite sending several emails and making a few phone calls, we struggled to get the information we needed to access the property. As you deal with an agent rather than the host directly, the lack of communication made us feel anxious and annoyed before we had even arrived.
The bathroom was cold, and the supply of firewood for the fireplace was limited. We were also disappointed to find that dogs were not allowed upstairs, which is worth knowing if you are travelling with pets.
Another inconvenience was being asked to take our rubbish to a designated collection point at the train station, which felt rather unreasonable.
Although the location is peaceful and the views are stunning, the overall experience did not justify the price. We felt the property was overpriced, particularly considering the communication issues and the inconveniences we encountered during our stay.
