Do not recommend - cold water, poor cleaning, cockroaches and a bedroom with no light

Good location, although not quite beachfront anymore (a building was constructed in front of it), and definitely not a 3-minute walk. Parking available for the car. Kitchen equipped with the necessary utensils for a stay (though they were dirty).

We do not recommend this property. Having visited this area for the past 20 years, this accommodation was well below the standard of the area. We had cold water for our entire stay (it was already like this when we arrived). A technician was called and told us this wasn't the first time he'd been called out for water heater issues at this property. The accommodation bought a new water heater but never installed it, so we had cold water for the whole stay. Poor cleaning throughout the house — not just in areas like the air conditioning, but also the kitchen, which we had to wash ourselves. We even found two cockroaches in the bathroom. We also found a duvet covered in dog hair, which suggests bedding wasn't properly cleaned between guests. One of the bedrooms had no light for 4 days (it was already like this when we arrived, and the host even told us the cleaning staff already knew about it). Also, the listing should be updated: not all bedrooms have air conditioning — some only have a fan. It's not beachfront anymore either — it used to be, but a building was constructed in front of it. Communication with the owners was very difficult, with phone calls (even to receive a delivery of a water heater that was never installed), with excuses and claims that these were one-off issues — but the technician told us it was a known, recurring problem, and we heard the owner confirm this over the phone. They offered to refund us for the remaining nights, which does not undo the problems we reported and had already experienced, on top of the inconvenience of having to find another place to stay overnight.
