About this house rental
Built in 1968 as a vacation home, this retreat exudes the special charm of that era. Built into the north-facing slope across from the scattered settlement of Gretschitz and terraced and reinforced with rock and stone, it offers views over the Michaelerberg to St. Ulrich and down into the eastern Karawanken and Steiner Alps. It was formerly used as a summer retreat by a writer and composer from Klagenfurt. The house is heated with oil and a wood-burning fireplace; electricity is now supplied by a photovoltaic system.
