Not as expected
The neighborhood was quite and clean.
Th property images in the listing are not representative of the neighborhood and rooms appear larger. I'd encourage potential renters to 'street view' the address and surroundings prior booking.
This is NOT A ONE_BEDROOM HOUSE. You are renting one-half of an ADU. There is no paved walkway to the unit. During and after rainfall you will ruin your shoes and pants coming and going. Not to mention dragging mud into the apartment constantly.
The listing advertises Inner courtyard view but has not courtyard to speak of, no Cleaning products were provided, the Suit press does not exist, Detached from main house but not separate from other ADU.
The walls of the property are rather thin. You will hear your neighbors talking and partaking in extracurricular activities. The kitchen is very narrow. It's not a place to work efficiently. The bedroom and bathroom are of good size.
Upon arrival I had to clean the fridge from spilled liquids and tighten the headboard by hand. Finishing nails are protruding from door frames and may tear your clothing. I reached out to the owners by phone regarding vibrations, lose headboards, etc but have not heard back to date. Texting appears to be the only way to reach someone.
I'd urge the owners too stay in this unit themselves to evaluate needed repairs, changes, and improvements. The setup is not quite efficient but I get the idea.
