AVOID THIS PROPERTY – I felt completely misled

1/10 – Extremely disappointing experience.
Five of us booked this property for a reunion, and I was the person who made and paid for the reservation.
When my friends arrived, the host refused to let them into the property because I was not physically there, despite this requirement not being stated in the property's published policies. I was some distance away and offered reasonable alternatives, including providing my ID and paying the security deposit remotely. He refused and made everyone wait outside until I arrived.
His behaviour was extremely rude, confrontational and unhelpful.
Then we discovered the biggest issue:
THERE IS NO LIVING ROOM.
Not a small living room. Not an inadequate living room. There is simply NO living room.
There was also NO ACCESS TO THE REAR GARDEN. When I raised this with the host, he gave vague explanations about somebody coming to check it and repeatedly told me he would refund me if I wasn't happy.
Because the rear garden was inaccessible, we used the front area instead. The host then monitored us through CCTV and contacted us to say he could see that we were using the front for a barbecue. We explained that this was because we could not access the rear garden.
There were also damaged/broken beds and other issues with the condition of the property.
I reported everything to Booking.com. Booking.com attempted to contact the accommodation but subsequently told me they were unable to reach an agreement with the accommodation. The host also did not respond to Booking.com's attempts to resolve the matter.
Something else concerns me
After looking through the property's reviews, I noticed three separate 10/10 reviews all dated Tuesday, 28 April 2026:

All are extremely positive and praise the host/property.
I cannot independently prove that these reviews are fake, so I will not claim that as a fact.
