Poor communication

I didn’t end up staying at the place, this is purely based on their customer service. I saw concerning reviews regarding lack of privacy in the backyard/pool area and even neighbours being able to see inside the unit. I tried reaching out to the property to clarify my concerns via WhatsApp, but the number listed on Booking.com was not on WhatsApp. I then emailed them using the contact info listed on booking.com and still no answer. Since we didn’t want to gamble our honeymoon on the lack of privacy, we decided to not stay at this location. The team only reached out back a few hours before the stay time was supposed to start.

Staff were wonderful. Villas have potential but work required.

Reception staff and facility manager were professional and supportive. Good location with easy 15 minute walk into Kuta’s busy centre. 5 to 10 minute walk to various cafes and restaurants. All just minutes away by scooter. Bed was acceptable and shower was effective. Facility manager was introducing needed changes to streamline processes and addressed basics such as fitting villas with three way power point adapters, arranging for towel hooks to be fitted to shower room, etc.

Initial villa next to road was noisy due to traffic/dogs barking in the evening. Once moved to a villa back from the road, noise was less intrusive. Finishing in both villas was very average. Our second villa’s tap needed to be repaired (fell through the concrete basin due to initial poor installation). Water from shower would slowly flow out of shower room into kitchen area, as floor tiles had not been laid properly. Tiles were already cracked/cracking in both villas. Pool pump in second villa was noisy due to water levels being too low. Privacy in the pool was limited. Overall, basic construction appeared to be rushed/poorly finished. Routine maintenance needs to be reviewed/improved. Sofa in both villas were quite uncomfortable.
