The house and outdoors had some great facilities and areas to relax and entertain
Got a call from management 30mins before check in to say it would be delayed 1.5hrs as clean had just turned up. We had just bought groceries and had to go in and put them in the fridge due to 34 deg day. We sat by the pool while cleaners finished. Once cleaner had left we found that there was no toilet paper, bin liners, dishwashing liquid, washing powder, sponges, hand soap, body wash, tissues so called management. We had to wait long enough to make us require a trip back to the shops to buy all these supplies ourselves. They eventually turned up with the items but not before we had to spend more money to stay at a property we had just paid $1,500 for 3 days. We also found that the kitchen was pretty filthy and had to clean the microwave to use it. We had water leaking from fridge and found a swimming pool of water and slimy food residue under each crisper and had to clean that also. We gave up on even using oven and dishwasher as we didn’t want to clean them first and found ourselves cleaning dishes and glasses before we used them. Disappointing that basics like toilet paper were not a priority for guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and clean but the kitchen needed much more thought and a deep clean. Air con worked well after its initial long cooling process but was noisy and made clunking noises through back of house at night. Filter covers could do with a good clean. Back screen door could not be used to let in the breeze as it was full of holes and would let bugs in. We travel a lot but sadly we will not be back here or be recommending
