Didn’t wanna write too long but afraid I would miss mentioning all the good things here, so here we go. This is not a sponsored review, nor was I offered anything in exchange for it. This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel (or any hostel ever). With hotel prices in Seoul having increased so dramatically, I thought, why not give a capsule hotel a try for seven nights? How bad could it be? Well, Ostello Maree has gone far beyond my expectations. I had read some negative reviews mentioning guests being asked to leave a 5-star review in order to receive a tax refund. In my case, I was able to receive my tax refund from the second day of my stay, well before writing this review, so that was not an issue for me. I also came across concerns about the air conditioning, and unfortunately, I did experience this myself. Since some guests preferred a warmer temperature, the cleaning ladies occasionally turned off the AC. However, once I informed the management team and switched the AC back on, it stayed running until the next morning without any further issues. The capsule itself was comfortable and private. Once I closed the curtain and lowered the blind, it genuinely felt like a little room. I didn’t expect to feel this comfortable in a capsule hotel. The bathroom was another highlight. It was exceptionally clean and stayed dry throughout my entire seven-night stay. At times, I even wondered whether anyone else was using it. There were only 2-3 occasions when I encountered another guest in the shower area; otherwise, I practically had it all to myself. Another thing I really appreciated was how respectful everyone was. The quiet hours were consistently observed, and the entire floor was incredibly peaceful. It was so quiet that I sometimes felt bad even moving a plastic bag because it seemed like the only sound on the entire floor. Would definitely stay here again on my next budget trip to Seoul.

The Best Hostel Experience Ever! 🇰🇷 I have travelled extensively around the world, and I can honestly say that this place is absolutely impeccable. It feels more like a brand-new boutique hotel than a hostel! Everything is exceptionally clean — the bedsheets, bedding, towels, bathrooms, and every single corner of the property. The entire place is spotless, modern, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, making the whole experience even more special. They even offer breakfast, and you can get a tax refund, which is such a fantastic bonus! Honestly, I have stayed in accommodations all over the world, and this place genuinely surprised me in the best possible way. The attention to cleanliness and detail is on another level. Everything is simply perfect. I stayed here, came back again, and I will definitely return whenever I am in Korea. That says it all! Not just 10/10 — 100/10! 💯 Highly recommended to anyone visiting Korea. Don't hesitate to book this place. You will be amazed! ❤️
