Very pleasant stay

Location

Nothing, however, one remark is that the host was not always prompt in replying to messages. There was a bit of anxiety from our part as we normally like to know things well in advance doe silly when the rent has been paid. It’s the un-promptness of responding to messages which was a bit of a problem.

Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay without basic necessities

The instructions about the door code were not the best. I received them 2 hours before our arrival, which was quite stressful; we didn't have the details on time.

We were three people staying at the property. When we arrived, there were no sheets provided for the third bed, even though the booking was for three guests. Shortly after arriving, we also discovered that there was no hot water. I immediately contacted the property, but my messages were largely ignored. No sheets were provided during our first night, which meant that our friend had to sleep using our beach towels instead of proper bedding. We have photos showing this. Even worse, the hot water issue was never resolved during our entire stay. A repair technician eventually came to inspect the problem (it was not resolved) and told us that the owner was already aware of the issue, but that nothing had been done to properly fix it. After our stay, we were assured that we would receive a refund because of the serious problems we experienced. It has now been two months, and we have still received neither the promised refund nor any meaningful update. Communication throughout this experience was extremely poor. The property would repeatedly ignore our messages and only seemed to respond when I mentioned that I would share my experience in a review. I have attached photos witht he communication with the time that was taken to respond. We also have photos of the thermostat taken on different days, with the dates visible on the device. They show that the water temperature remained around only 27–30°C throughout the stay and even dropped on some days.

A lovely studio flat in a perfect location right in the heart of the old city of Palermo. Very friendly support staff allowed us store our bags early and kept in touch throughout. There was a lovely view of the city rooftops too.

It’s not a huge flat and the bathroom is not fancy. But good for a short stay.
