A lovely stay in Seville

Apartment was clean and well furnished and equipped. The location was excellent - lots of bars close by and only 10 mins walk to the 'mushrooms'

No dislikes but bedroom isn't quite to the standard as the rest of the apartment. Absolutely fine for sleeping in though.

The property was in a great location for what my husband and I wanted. We were able to go out at night and check out some of the vintage shops and restaurants in the day.

Misleading, problematic property

The location

The listing is misleading - this is not a two bedroom apartment. It is a one bedroom apartment. To access an entirely separate room, you have to exit the apartment, lock it, go onto the building's staircase (which is not part of the apartment, of course) and go up a flight of stairs to the shared building terrace. Next to the terrace, there is a tiny room with a terrible sewage smell (as another reviewer noted, which nothing is being done about). We chose this property precisely for the two bedroom feature as we were travelling as a family with a baby. We contacted the property to note the discrepancy, and they argued endlessly that the detail is stated - it is not anywhere on the listing on booking.com. The booking agent checked everywhere and couldn't find it either. In any case, such a bizarre feature should be disclosed at the top and in the title. No apartment in the world has a separate room somewhere in the building that can be claimed part of the apartment. It is simply incorrect to mislead guests into booking an apartment that is not what you claim it is, or hide the details in an obscure place nobody can find it. Beyond that: - The "emergency number" does not work, it claims to be 24h but nobody responds - They had multiple system errors which made check-in a very lengthy and complicated experience - The elevator didn't working 3x - Somebody knocked on the apartment door multiple times while our baby was sleeping - again proof that this is not "one apartment" as the staircase is accessible to anyone entering the building - The sheets on the bedding have no buttons or zippers, they are completely open so the duvet and pillows fall out of the covers if you move slightly, which isn't hygenic We loved Sevilla. This dishonesty was the only downer of our trip.
