Great location. Bad management. Refurbishment needed. Never again.

1. Size of apartment. 2. Location in city. 3. Clean floors. And this is ALL and only good points.

We are a family of 4. We booked 7 nights, but we stayed only 1 night and 7 hours before leaving as fast and far away as possible. The main reason was a total lack of property management, help, and guidance despite our desperate calls and messages. Reasons and Details: 1. No Running Water: Missing water overnight (no shower, unflushable toilets from 7:30 PM to 9:30 AM). We later learned this local issue was reported in Greek press in July 2026, yet undisclosed in the listing. A diligent owner should have warned us and provided water buckets for the toilets. 2. Safety Hazard Stairs: Squeaky, rotten wooden stairs up to the 4th floor (attic). Dangerous without light, forcing us to use phone flashlights during power outages. Light luggage is a must. 3.Power Breakdown: Complete electricity loss, including on access stairs. No help or electrician was provided by the owner. 4. Water Leaks: Rain leaked through window frames and parts of the main bedroom and living room ceilings with zero owner reaction. 5. Misleading Photos: Listing photos are 70% exaggerated marketing. In reality, the place needs complete refurbishment to fix flaws and a persistent dusty smell. 6. Flawed AC Setup: Mobile AC units with improvised wire setups kept pipes hanging through permanently open windows. Street noise and roaring, outdated AC units destroyed our sleep. 7. Fire Hazard: Electrical extensions chained together across old, dry wooden floors and antique furniture—an unacceptable safety risk. 8. Kitchen Hygiene: A live worm was crawling across the ceiling. 9. Awkward Bathroom Layout: A long room split into two toilet/shower areas by a wooden door, forcing you to walk through the first to reach the second. Fixtures and ceilings were in poor condition, and we couldn't test the showers due to the water outage.

The location is perfect - you are in the heart of the old town! The apartment is big with almost everything you will need - well equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom. There are many shops and restaurants, just next to it.

It is on the 4th floor and the stairs are wooden, old and noisy. It was mentioned exactly after we paid the reservation 😀 The complete furniture is quite old and may be this is the reason it looks not so clean. In the evening could quite noisy because of the restaurants and bars on the street, but for us it was not a big issue.
