Karthakaad Mane - A CGH Earth SAHA Experience

Location

No wifi and hot water was not coming

The property is in the middle of a forest; the location is peaceful and serene. The property is also beautiful, with spacious rooms. All the staff here are friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the food, and they discussed the menu with us and offered a wide selection of dishes. You can enjoy birdwatching here and take a nature trail with the naturalist on the property. There's a beautiful stream nearby. It was a lovely off-grid stay if you are looking to escape into nature for a bit. Overall, it was a great experience, and we loved our stay.

The drinking water refill for the rooms was slow, and I had to wait for quite some time even when thirsty.

The entire team and staff at Karthakaad Mane are very warm and courteous. They were very helpful, proactive and made us feel at home. The views from the room are beautiful, facing the beautiful mountains. The property manager Mr Bijoy, is very kind. He gave a warm welcome and shared not just the history of the region but also the people. The naturalist Manish is like a walking encyclopedia who shared insights about coffee, flora and fauna. Nature walk with Manish, estate drive with Bijoy and yummy food by the chefs and hospitality of the server and other staff are the biggest highlights. The property and room are clean and well-maintained. A place where you actually feel tucked amid nature. It almost felt like a super luxurious home stay. The chef prepared 1 local Coorg dish for all the meals. They carefully curate the meal and experience by not assuming but actually talking and having meaningful conversations.

All our meals were included in the package except the lunch, which bit pricey. Apart from that, nothing to report as didn't like. But it was certainly delicious. The team made sure it was tuned to our palette.

We loved the whole experience and specially the staff.
