The best of locations. 3 minutes walk to the Royal Mile and Waverley. Plenty of restaurants and shops on the same street. Buses, trains and trams at Waverley. We walked to Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat, Calton Hill, South Leith, the University, the Art Gallery, and Stockbridge. All at an easy distance. The apartment was quiet when you want to take a break.
Shower is up at the loft but the rest of the bathroom is on the lower floor.
Cockburn is permanently closed to traffic. If you strongly prefer to have your baggage driven to the front door, it is not for you.

It was easy to pick up the keys. Hauling your luggage from the key pick up point to the apartment was a real challenge due to it being festival. There was hardly any room to even walk let alone carry luggage a block and a half. I'm not complaining, it is just something to be aware of. We loved the very close access to the royal mile and all the excitement. The apartment was quiet and relaxing for being so close to all the excitement.
The apartment was perfect except one should be told in the booking description of the apartment that specifically the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom via a spiral staircase. As an older couple, this became an issue in the middle of the night.

The location is perfect to see The Old Town and tourist venues! No need for a car!
Very clean and well equipped. Very good price.
Oh, the most comfortable bed as well!

Absolutely everything! From the communication from the host to check out, absolutely perfect property in an incredible location, everything we needed for a relaxing stay for my birthday l, we come to Edinburgh 4/5 times a year and this place was outstanding! Very central but zero noise
