The property is really nice and clean, with a very fresh and generous continental breakfast spread. I loved the beautiful backyard with cute plants, trees, birds and lots of sunny green space. I was able to run a load of laundry and dry it outside, which was super convenient. I also enjoyed the water fountains that gave the place a zen feel. The location is great as well, even in rush hour traffic it didn't take too long to make it to CBD. It is a homestay, but the owners give the guests total privacy, in fact I didn't actually end up talking to the owners at all except through messaging on the app, where they were very attentive and polite
It was all good, but as with pretty much every house in New Zealand, I had to wear my indoor slippers to keep my feet warm (no outdoor shoes are allowed in the house, which is great)
