A warm welcome and “Griaß Eich” to the “Da Börna” vacation home in Bayerisch Eisenstein, right at the foot of the Großer Arber, nestled amid the pristine primeval forests of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest. Located right on the border with the Czech Republic, we are the perfect starting point for exploring the region’s most beautiful destinations. All attractions, ski slopes, bike parks, and hiking areas are easily accessible by car, bus, and forest railway—or even on foot. A vacation in our region offers everything for those seeking action, adventure, and/or peace, quiet, and nature. The variety of options is virtually endless and caters to all interests and age groups. We purchased our house, Da Börna, in 2024, and the vacation apartments have been lovingly and individually redesigned—from the floors and bathrooms to the stylish, modern kitchens and the unique natural wood furniture. We also have a small, beautifully designed restaurant—each space uniquely styled—where you can wind down at the end of the day with a glass of wine or a delicious beer. We look forward to introducing you to this peaceful retreat—a perfect starting point for your personal interests, hobbies, and passions—and to welcoming you here for what is sure to be an unforgettable vacation, in keeping with our motto: “Vacations for Free Spirits.” The Waldwiese vacation rental is a stylish, quiet accommodation for 2 guests, featuring one bedroom and a modern bathroom with a shower. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, and a balcony, terrace, or veranda from which you can enjoy the view of the mountains. Towels, soap, and a hair dryer are, of course, provided, and parking is also available. The Waldwiese is ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking relaxation in the heart of nature while also benefiting from its proximity to hiking trails, winter sports areas, and tourist attractions. The same applies here: arrive, unwind, and experience the Bavarian Forest in all its diversity. Pets are not allowed. 2 euros tourist tax per person/night. The deposit is 100% of the room rate. Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Check-out is available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on site. Tourism tax: 2.5 euros per person/night. Breakfast basket available upon request.
