Our beautiful half-timbered house is located at the foot of the Staffelberg, nestled in the wonderful Gottesgarten, in the quiet yet central district of Horsdorf. Experience the charm of a house built in 1688 in our vacation rental, combined with modern amenities within the apartment itself. Numerous hiking trails start right from the house, and mountain bikers, cyclists (Main Valley Bike Path), and Nordic walking enthusiasts will all find plenty to enjoy. The numerous lakes in the area offer plenty of opportunities for water sports and swimming; there’s even a kayaking and canoeing route (Gelbe Welle) on the Main River that invites you to enjoy some active recreation. For relaxation, the Obermain Therme—Bavaria’s warmest and most concentrated thermal brine—is the perfect place. The sights, including Vierzehnheiligen, Staffelberg, and Klosterbanz, as well as the surrounding towns with their castles and palaces, will let you see your vacation destination in a whole new light. Bad Staffelstein (Horsdorf district) is located directly on the A 73 highway and is therefore very easy to reach by car. The train station is about 2 km away, and the bus stop is right across from our vacation home. If you’d like to explore the nightlife after a day of adventures, there’s plenty to offer in the towns and at local restaurants. Our Franconia region is known for its festivals and celebrations throughout the year, so you’re sure to find something to your liking here in our region of culinary delights. We look forward to your visit! This beautiful vacation apartment exudes the charm of our historic house and is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Bed linens are provided in the bedroom, and we’ll have towels ready for you. In the kitchen, you’ll find an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. On the very spacious balcony, you’ll be able to enjoy some well-deserved peace and quiet while taking in the view of the gardens and the surrounding half-timbered buildings. The deposit is 100% of the total rental price. Check-in is between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Check-out is between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Tourist tax: Adults: 2.00 EUR per person; Teens (ages 14–17): 1.50 EUR per person; Children (ages 0–13): free. Check-in and check-out times can also be arranged individually.
