About this cottage rental

Located in Ponet-et-Saint-Auban, this charming 70 m² village cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom. The multi-level house features natural materials and mountain views. The second bedroom is a cleverly converted former wine cellar with a plaster vault. Cool year-round, it has a French door and a small window overlooking a covered passageway. The bedrooms are far apart, each reached by its own distinctive staircase, ensuring excellent sound insulation. Please bear this in mind if travelling with young children. You have a fully equipped private kitchen, a TV, a fan, a washing machine, a cot and a high chair. The living area is heated mainly by a wood-burning stove, with electric heating in the other spaces. Comfortable slippers are recommended in cooler weather. The cottage is open year-round.

Step onto your private balcony or uncovered terrace to relax and enjoy the scenery. A private barbecue is available for outdoor meals.

Shared parking is available on site and on the street. Your pets are welcome. A shared bicycle storage room is available for your cycling outings. Families will appreciate the shared children's toys and books. Please note that events are not permitted on the property.

The steps in front of the doors are high; the house may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Pros: Beautifully restored old house in small village very close to Die (and its large supermarket), and good base for the Diois and southern Vercors (or northern Baronnies). Everything you need for a wonderful stay in beautiful region, including dish washer and washing machine. Warm welcome from hosts, responsive to any questions or requests. Good kitchen, nice bathroom, large living room. We enjoyed coming back in the evenings and having dinner outside listening to the birds! Good to know: the house has thick walls so well insulated. It was very hot outside but relatively cool inside, and the bedrooms are even cooler! One has a constant cool fresh temperature which was a big plus during a heat wave. Cons: Nothing really. If you’re very tall, just be a bit careful in the kitchen as part of the ceiling slopes down a bit.
