The exclusive Rosie [&] Piet vacation home has been extensively renovated from the ground up. The original character of the vacation home has been preserved in all its uniqueness, while this little gem with a thatched roof now shines in new splendor, featuring first-class amenities and furnishings. Access is through the covered sunroom, which also features a custom-built dining area with seating for up to 4 people.
Ground Floor: Living area with a spacious lounge corner and a rocking chair with a footstool for relaxing, a Smeg refrigerator, a Magenta TV, and an Apple Box, as well as an electric fireplace with a bench seating two. The open, modern kitchen by Leicht is fully equipped and features a countertop with speakers and a charging station. There is also a small seating area for 2–3 people.
Bathroom: Natural stone bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a Raindance overhead shower, and a hand shower. Towel warmer, toilet, and built-in Duravit sink
Upper Floor: A small loft extending all the way to the gable, featuring a thatched-roof dormer, from which two bedrooms—one on each side—lead off, each with a double bed, built-in closet, and lattice windows with blackout blinds.
Many exclusive details throughout the house, such as the bay window glazed on three sides with a custom-built wardrobe, designer lamps from the “light island” of Sylt on both floors, original Sylt breakwater wood from the beach in the living area, custom-built fixtures throughout the house, garden furniture for two terraces, and lounge chairs.
The garden, also redesigned by a landscape architect and gardener, is surrounded by a Frisian wall with an entrance gate and, including the forecourt, is beautifully illuminated in the evening. This wall surrounds the house, offering plenty of privacy and, depending on your preference, sun or shade on the Krusten natural stone and Katzenkopf cobblestone terraces or on the lawn, a Swedish red garden shed for the patio furniture, and an aluminum bike shed right next to the house.
The center of Westerland is approximately 600 meters away, and the West Beach is about 800 meters away.
There is one parking space at the house (Note: very narrow driveway, only about 215 cm wide), but you can also park easily on Stadumstraße. Unfortunately, this vacation home is not suitable for a vacation with small children.
