The Grandview Retreat is a great place to relax and unwind, so peaceful and quiet. The spa and BBQ area was fantastic, and every room has a TV for those days where the weather makes it a stay indoors day. Every shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash and the kitchen has every utensil and cookware that you could need. The animals are great and being able to get fresh eggs in the morning was a bonus. We will be back.

Owner was lovely and went out of his way to make the animal experience excellent for our kids. Great house with all the amenities you need including basics such as oils and baking paper. Kids loved collecting the eggs and seeing the animals out the window.
Spa was cold and not cleaned when we arrived meaning we couldn’t use it the first night (the main reason we booked) and although very apologetic and fixed for the following day, we were not offered any compensation.

The location was great. The view from the deck, tranquil. The spa and bbq/fire undercover area relaxing, dry and warm. The layout of the house was great and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was a generous bonus extra! While the downstairs area was occupied by other guests, our area was very private.
