The hosts provided clear manuals covering self check-in, Wi-Fi, the bin collection schedule and things to see nearby, and communication over WhatsApp was quick and clear throughout.
A word on location: Triq D’Argens is about as central and busy as Malta gets, so I find complaints about street noise from previous guests hard to understand. Gzira, Sliema and St Julian’s have some of the highest population densities on the island, and during rush hour this street carries commuters coming from Ta’ Xbiex and Msida. I lived on this street some years ago and knew exactly what I was booking.
If you’re here as a tourist rather than for work like me, that’s the upside: you’re in the middle of Malta’s international crowd, with plenty of good restaurants and gastro pubs just down the hill. That hill matters, though. If you have mobility issues, this isn’t the place for you. The apartment is on the second floor with no lift, and the steep streets around it can be hard going too. For anyone who wants nightlife and atmosphere on their doorstep, it’s the right spot.
I was also pleasantly surprised that the apartment didn’t have the low water pressure common in other flats in the area.
Nothing worth mentioning. Some previous guests clearly didn’t treat the apartment and furniture with the care and mutual respect you’d expect. That’s not on the hosts. It’s despicable when guests show so little respect for someone else’s home while visiting another country. The apartment is still well equipped with everything you need for a week’s stay, and the hosts clearly do their best to keep it maintained between bookings.

não havia cortinas nos quartos, por isso entrava a luz toda e as janelas estão em péssimo estado, ouvia-se o trânsito todo a passar na rua, havia vidros no chão, cabelos na banheira, a cama de bebê não tinha colchão, e a sanita perdia agua
