Two days before check-in, I extended my stay. I was told that I needed to pay in advance for the additional day, and I agreed.
One hour before check-in, I was informed that due to technical issues they could not accommodate me in the apartment I had booked. Instead, they offered me two alternative apartments in completely different areas, with much worse conditions and at a higher price.
When I asked to cancel the reservation because the alternatives were not suitable for me, I was told that I had to do it myself. However, I couldn't cancel it because this booking was non-refundable on Booking.com.
I then requested a free cancellation from the property manager, but they have been ignoring me for two days.
I have already submitted a complaint to Booking.com customer support. I hope no one else has to experience this kind of "hospitality."
