Comfortable bed and clean room in the heart of Vernazza. Very close to the train station in a heritage building. The little village was hilly (with cobblestone steps and streets and a flatter central square) but for us that added to the charm of the location. Our host was very responsive and helpful (we communicated via WhatsApp). We felt one with the locals in a great location (a 3 minute walk to the picturesque harbour). It was a perfect location to do the Vernazza to Monterosso hike and the Corniglia to Vernazza hike. We bought a 3 day train & hiking pass to hop on and off regional trains to visit Monterosso, Corniglia, Riomaggiore, Manorola and Levanto.
