After a shaky start due to a lack of communication, a common complaint I see. However, once I was finally given the option to register directly with the host as well as Booking.com, everything became very easy. I received all the codes needed to access the apartment, garage, and main entrance without any issues.
I paid £11 for the underground car park and was able to leave my car there overnight and while watching the Man Utd football match the next day. £11 for overnight and match-day parking is an absolute bargain! The host was very understanding regarding parking, and the underground car park felt safe and secure.
I found the apartment clean and tidy, with everything I needed for my stay. I'm not sure why some people have left negative reviews, as, for me, the apartment was exactly what I expected for the £80 I paid!
The location is excellent for attending football matches, with plenty of places to eat nearby.
Please note that you do have to pay a separate deposit directly to the host, and pass over ID in addition to the upfront payment to Booking.com. I'm still waiting to see whether my deposit is returned, but I have no reason to believe it won't be.
Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you're visiting for a football match!
Lack of communication when enquiring info from the host.
