The room was nice and the location was excellent.
We woke up with several bites and sent photos to the hostel. They offered to inspect the bed at 10 am the next morning, but we explained we’d still be in the room. They eventually came on our last day and claimed there was nothing there.
Bed bugs are notoriously difficult to detect, so a quick inspection can’t rule them out. What bothered us most was that they didn’t even change the sheets as a precaution. They actually left our bed unmade after inspecting it.
Given how serious a potential bed bug issue can be, we expected them to take it much more seriously.
