Un soggiorno da sogno nel cuore di Dublino. Assolutamente perfetto!
Un’esperienza semplicemente indimenticabile, sotto ogni punto di vista.
Innanzitutto, la posizione merita un 10 e lode: eravamo nel pieno centro di Dublino, proprio di fronte a Temple Bar, sull’altra sponda del fiume. Una posizione davvero imbattibile, perfetta per visitare la città a piedi e godersi ogni angolo di questa meravigliosa capitale, con il grande vantaggio di trovarsi a pochi passi dalla vivacità di Temple Bar, ma al riparo dal rumore e dalla confusione della vita notturna, garantendo così notti tranquille.
Il check-in e il check-out sono stati semplicissimi, perfettamente organizzati e senza il minimo inconveniente. Il giorno della partenza, inoltre, abbiamo potuto lasciare tranquillamente i bagagli per continuare a esplorare la città prima di dirigerci in aeroporto.
La Suite è un autentico gioiello: meraviglioso, spaziosissimo, inondato di luce naturale e arredato con un’eleganza straordinaria. Ogni dettaglio è curato alla perfezione, l’arredamento è raffinato e impeccabile e la pulizia è assolutamente irreprensibile.
Un grazie di cuore a Charlene, la splendida proprietaria. Una persona di una gentilezza, un’allegria e un’umanità fuori dal comune. Ci ha accolti con grande affetto, regalandoci preziosissimi consigli su cosa visitare, dove andare e dove mangiare, sempre con un sorriso e una disponibilità straordinari. Posso dire, senza alcuna esagerazione, che Charlene è una delle persone più amabili che abbia mai avuto il piacere di conoscere.
È stato un fine settimana da sogno, un’esperienza che ha superato ogni aspettativa e che porterò con me come un ricordo meraviglioso.
Non vedo l’ora di tornare, e conto di farlo molto presto! Non avrei potuto desiderare di meglio. Assolutamente insuperabile, consigliatissimo sotto ogni punto di vista.

The location was fantastic. Although it was right on the River Liffey, it was still pretty quiet with windows closed. It was very spacious. Check in and check out were easy. Getting a free coffee from Daniel's Coffee downstairs was a nice perk. Although there is no on-site parking, the APCOA parking garage is just on the next block and has decent rates for 24-hour parking in a big city.
There were a few cleanliness problems with the Marlon Suite. We found 5 small shards of thin glass on the carpet, that should have been picked up by a vacuum. There was a prior guest's hair on the floor and wall of the shower, as well as a prior guest's leftover razor on the high shower shelf. There was toothpaste residue at the bottom of one of the frosted glass toothpaste cups near the sink. It would have been a 10 out of 10 stay if not for the lax cleaning. We stayed at three hotels on our Ireland trip prior to One Capel - and all three hotels were excellent and clean. One Capel was the only exception. But hopefully the owner will see this review and "tidy up" their cleaning procedures. Otherwise, it is a great place with a great location.

Amazing customer service with kind, friendly and helpful staff. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. Their coffee shop was also a great experience.
Location was great. Perfect location to experience all that Dublin has to offer, day and night. The highlight is the exceptional and wonderful staff including Daniel's coffee. Thank you to Charlene, Dan and Laurie.
Being in the heart of Dublin in a beautiful historic building means the street noise is unavoidable. The shutters and blackout curtains help.
Light sleepers like me will be happy to have noise canceling sleep ear buds. Good sleepers won't notice.
