Too noisy after 9pm maybe set up a time to be quiet will be great. No pegs for clothes, Was to windy. Need more tables, was busy during Dinner time. But in general everything else, was great 😊

Comfortabele kamer met een erg goed matras en ventilatie. Kamer en gedeelde badkamer waren schoon. Fijne locatie met een supermarkt en restaurants heel dicht bij.

The hostel has a lot of potential. It’s a cute property with a pleasant outdoor area and a very good location for exploring Moorea, although it’s on the opposite side of the island from the ferry terminal, about 40 minutes away. It’s also one of the cheapest accommodation options on the island, making it an affordable choice by French Polynesian standards. The setting could make it a really nice place to stay if the property were better managed and maintained.

Unfortunately, security and management are serious concerns. During my stay, the property was broken into twice, and belongings were stolen. This is particularly concerning because there are no lockers to secure valuables, and there is virtually no staff presence. Everything is handled through self-check-in, and I never saw anyone from the hostel administration on the premises. The hostel advertises an age limit of 40, but with nobody around to check or enforce the rules, it seems rather pointless. Another major issue is the noise. Wild roosters live on the property and crow throughout the night, making it extremely difficult to get a decent night’s sleep. Nearly every guest I spoke to complained about this, so don’t expect peaceful nights! The kitchen is far too small for the number of guests, frequently messy, and apparently not properly monitored or cleaned. The refrigerator is tiny and poorly organized, making it challenging for anyone planning a longer stay and wanting to cook. Even basic amenities, such as soap in the rooms, are missing. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms. You should get a data plan. No hot water after 3-4pm. Several other guests also complained about the owner’s rude attitude and lack of support. I didn’t have issues myself but personally found the complete absence of management particularly frustrating, especially given the security incidents. It’s a shame because the property has genuine potential, but it desperately needs better management, improved security, and more attention to basic guest needs.
