Nice host but would not return.

The host was polite and communicative - they were very quick to respond and the place is well located near the train station and about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The apartment is a good size for two and we appreciated there was an iron + hairdryer and a powerful AC even though it was quite loud. The place was stocked with toilet paper and some detergent / cleaning supplies which is always nice! The fridge was small and powerful.

Unfortunately there was a lot left to be desired here. The floorboards are incrediblyyyy loud, I woke the person I was travelling with just going to grab some water in the middle of the night. The AC was powerful but unbearably loud - we couldn’t leave it on for more than a few minutes after returning from the beach because of the volume. There is a washing machine for your clothes which is great, but nowhere to actually dry them which felt a bit futile. I opened the window once to find a cigarette butt in the window frame which made me question how thorough the cleaning is despite a 5 hour gap between check in/out. The towels were very rough so we purchased our own to use during our stay. The water was very temperamental and the shower head was quite low even for myself at 5’4 tall, I couldn’t find a way to adjust it and even at that height it sprayed water all over the bathroom floor. There are no beach accessories which is not a fault in and of itself but I have found that other beach locations I have stayed at usually do have something like a little umbrella at the least. Most importantly the bed mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable making it difficult to have a good nights rest! Overall this may be ok for a few days but a week here means we were quite uncomfortable / inconvenienced. The floorboards and bed were definitely a hindrance.
