A brand-new hotel in a truly special location, with an extremely elegant design. The triple room with its original bunk bed was cosy and had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely. The spa, with its outdoor area, authentic Finnish sauna and ocean views, was a real highlight. The lovely staff made us feel very welcome. The library and park offered peaceful spaces for contemplation. Nearby, the monument and information centre provide valuable insights into the consequences of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, the area's redevelopment and the resilience of its inhabitants.

Beautiful new property with great amenities! The public spa is complimentary, and includes a sauna, cold bath, and roof-top hot tub. There's also complimentary coffee and tea in the 5th floor lounge.
They also have very convenient self-serve laundry at a very reasonable price.
I think my only complaint is that the fitness center (gym) equipment is lacking. The dumbbells only go up to 10kg, there is no bench, and no cable machines.
