About this house rental
The location is ideal for anyone who values peace and quiet but still likes to be close to everything. The house is situated between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, not far from Borner Harbor and right on the island’s circular bike path. From here, it’s easy to plan walks along the water, bike rides through the Darß Forest, or relaxing hours on the West Beach.
Born itself is one of the quieter towns on the Darß peninsula. The town is characterized by thatched-roof houses, narrow streets, and a relaxed atmosphere. The town offers good restaurants, cafés, a small harbor with passenger ferry service, bike rentals, and surfing and kitesurfing schools. Depending on the season, markets, festivals, and cultural events provide variety without detracting from the town’s original character.
The surrounding area offers many opportunities for day trips. The unspoiled West Beach is just a few minutes away and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Baltic Sea. Ahrenshoop, Prerow, and Zingst are also easily accessible and invite visitors to explore their piers, galleries, small shops, and beaches. Nature lovers can experience the full diversity of the region in the Darß Forest, the national park, and along the shores of the Bodden.
