We stayed in one of the Dungeon/Basement rooms. Very Spacious room with a small window looking out onto the garden area with the pool. The castle is loacated within its own grounds, with surrounding vineyards.
Plenty of parking.
The evening meal we had in the castles dining room was excellent, and their own wine was very good too.
Breakfast was buffet style, and possibly the best buffet style breakfast i have had. Very good products and a large variety.
On check in we were given a map of the castle and had a walk around though some of the rooms on the ground floor.
We no longer have a dog, but if we would've known about this hotel before we would definitely have stayed, as it is dog friendly with plenty of places to walk the dog.
