Money trap

Nice pool

It was a money trap. The owner takes half the total of money, even if you cancel. The bed sheets had not been changed, There were seven stains from the previous occupancy. Dirty microwave. Chips, used cigarettes, and tissues on the floor behind the bed. Dirty shower plug full of hair. Broken chair on the balcony and drawn over table. The sofa looked like it was covered in mould. We didn't have internet until 2 days before we left. The owner gave us a password to the neighbours internet that kept disconnecting and could only be used from sitting in a certain area on the sofa. The curtains and windows where filthy. When contacting the property, they were very dismissive, and victimised theirselves that it wasn't their fault the cleaning team hadn't done their job. Twice. They didn't address the filth of the apartment and instead only wanted to talk about the internet. At one point I asked for a refund of £70 and said i would contact my countries internet provider and use roaming data. At that point he told me we could leave the property and he would return the money to us. Within two day he said he would refund nothing and tried to twist the situation. In the end we contacted the booking.com who helped us very limited. He gave us 2000 egyptian for the internet which is 29£ and never address the filth that was the property. Do not waste your money here. Move on and look somewhere else or your holiday will be ruined like ours was. The whole experience left us exhausted and completely demoralised.
