The view, and the chalets it self were beautiful and the warmth of the staff very welcoming.
Check-in instructions are not clear, you need to enter the national park and drive up a road that is in very bad condition. High cars only.
Also the dinner was a complete disaster.Very small portions, cocktails with no alcohol inside and just very poor food for what you pay for.
Not worth the money !

Beautiful location and the chalet we stayed in was amazing.
The food wasn’t great, and we were sprayed by the sprinklers a lot going to and from the restaurant.

The view from the room terrace is unparalleled. The room itself was fresh and tastefully furnished. The dinner and breakfast were great quality and the servers were friendly. We would love to give this a 10 but for some issues we experienced.
The floor in the room could have been cleaner, as it looked like dirt had been mopped around the bathroom. The suite we were in is adjacent to another with the original connecting door which provided no sound proofing. You don’t have to imagine what your neighbours are up to as you can hear them at it. The pool next to the restaurant had presumably been heavily dosed with chlorine which caught in the back of our throats as we dined.

The view in my opinion was the hero of my stay at Chalets Chamarel.
The property started to look a bit tired after so many years. I could never get the TV to work properly, I had to get maintenance to come and fix the hose to the shower head, it was split and spraying water and if one looked closely you could tell that the maintenance upkeep needed a bit more attention. Walking to the restaurant could be a challenge for some as it’s uphill.
