It was ok, but there were many small problems that kept us from enjoying the stay.
The instructions provided by the host were good and had good detail. There was a good amount of space for our family to stay in while we were visiting San Francisco. The fridge had ice and water and that was nice. There were a few USB charge ports in the home and that helped us charge up our devices.
Overall we didn't have the best experience. We found the house to be not very clean. There were some sticky floors, and dusty areas. It doesn't seem like it was cleaned before we arrived (other than emptying out the trash cans and making the beds). The house also had a bad smell. It smelled like someone had smoked in there or maybe somewhere nearby. It had a smell of marijuana. We even found a little leftover marijuana in one of the drawers in the bedroom. That wasn't great. The kitchen was missing some basic items. It didn't have a full set of utensils, and didn't have any serving bowls. The house also didn't have too many towels. We didn't even see any hand towels. Although there were some bath towels available. On one of the fold down couches, the legs were somewhat broken, so when we tried to sleep on it, it would tip over. When we left and were going to put all our trash in the outside trash bin, we found that it was already overflowing.. so we couldn't put our trash in there. Also whoever was staying in the back unit, had people over pretty late one of the nights, and that was a little noisy when it was time to sleep. Also we all felt that the neighborhood was not the safest. There was quite a bit of trash around, and it just left us with a slightly unsafe feeling. For the price that we paid, it just left us feeling disappointed.
