Was a perfect location to do the day hike to Tsubakuro dake. Very comfortable room and lovely host. I also ordered the noodles from the restaurant which was delicious!
I did have a bit of a stomache ache the next day, likely from the food I ate. It was delicious, but I would rather have not had a stomach ache when walking up the mountain.

15min walk to Hotaka station which was great to catch the early morning bus to Nakabusa Onsen. Room temperature was comfortable despite no air-conditioner nor heater.
Rooms had no locks and had thin walls (could hear other guests watching TVs and having conversations). Check-in was available only from 5pm, with a per hour charge for leaving luggage and/or early check in. Only 1 shower for sharing among all guests in the accommodation.
