The host was very welcoming and gave clear, precise instructions. The place was calm and spotless. The traditional room was gorgeous, and the little garden at the entrance felt like a dream. The onsen was a lovely discovery. Our 2 nights in Hakone were a real family joy.

Lovely traditional accommodation. Really helpful staff, helped us a lot with our luggage forwarding and explained how everything worked with the room and onsen. Traditional Japanese room and great private onsen.
The location is a short bus ride or a 15min walk (with huge uphill steps) to Gora, but great value, just something to bear in mind if you have lots of luggage! Staff are willing to collect you with notice, but we weren’t organised enough for that!
