I chose this apartment specifically for safety reasons, and it exceeded my expectations! While it is outside the historic old district, it’s only about a 10-minute walk away. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and secure at night.
One night, my friend and I (two Asian women) finished dinner after midnight and were initially a bit nervous about the 7-minute walk back. However, unlike the narrow alleys in the old district which can feel intimidating late at night, this area felt completely safe, with plenty of couples still out walking around.
On top of the great location, the owner was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help me when my luggage went missing. I am so grateful for his help! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Palermo.
Nothing rally. Maybe pillows are a bit high
