The location and setting are breathtaking but the biggest positive about this hotel is the staff and the level of hospitality they offer. They get to know their guests in an understated way and make it feel like home.
The food is fabulous, the drinks delicious (try a Tipsy Gibbon or regret it forever) and the tours they offer are great as well.
Superb in every way
It’s the tiniest gripe but the mosquito net around the bed didn’t close and the aircon was a bit noisy at night (but then so is the jungle!)

Upon arrival, we were picked up from the main road by their own transfer pickup truck. This was already an amazing experience, as we immediately got that adventurous feeling while driving through the jungle.
Once we arrived, we found ourselves in paradise. Everything was incredibly beautiful and impressive to see. We received such a warm and lovely welcome from the staff.
We stayed in a Deluxe Villa, which was extremely clean, beautiful, and an unforgettable experience, especially with all the amazing sounds of wildlife surrounding us.
The food was fantastic and of very high quality.
We also booked the day trip to the lake through Lost Horizon, and it was by far the best day trip we’ve experienced in Thailand so far!
We will definitely be back!
Nothing.

Staff is very friendly
The only thing that is 4 stars in this hotel are the prices: food and drinks are unbelievably expensive (they can afford because it’s impossible to get drinks somewhere else if you don’t have your own transport). The room itself is also extremely overpriced and in no way value for money. Coming on a motorcycle like we did is a serieus challenge as the 2km dirt road is an accident waiting to happen
