Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la sympathie, la disponibilité et la réactivité des propriétaires, qui se sont montrés arrangeants et à l'écoute de nos demandes.
La personne chargée de l'entretien était également très sympathique, disponible et réactive. Nous avons eu le sentiment qu'elle faisait de son mieux avec les moyens mis à sa disposition.
Le fait d'avoir pu accéder au logement bien avant l'heure prévue a été un véritable plus, que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.
Concernant les espaces, les chambres sont grandes et permettent d'accueillir confortablement le nombre de personnes annoncé. En revanche, il faut reconnaître que la pièce de vie est relativement petite et peu adaptée à un groupe nombreux, notamment pour les moments où tout le monde souhaite se retrouver. Heureusement, les volumes généreux des chambres compensent en partie ce manque d'espace commun.
Enfin, l'emplacement en plein centre-ville est un véritable atout, idéal pour profiter des environs.
C'est d'ailleurs ce qui rend notre déception d'autant plus grande : cette maison possède de réelles qualités et un énorme potentiel qui mériteraient d'être davantage valorisés par un entretien à la hauteur.
Une maison avec un énorme potentiel, mais malheureusement beaucoup trop de négligence…
Avant de partager notre expérience, je tiens tout de même à souligner quelques points positifs. Les propriétaires nous ont gentiment permis d'accéder au logement plus tôt que prévu. Lorsque nous avons signalé les problèmes de propreté, il nous a été proposé de refaire le ménage. De même, les équipements manquants (fourchettes, cuillères, tasses, etc.) nous ont été rapportés immédiatement. Il me semble important de le préciser.
Mais malheureusement, cela ne suffit pas à compenser l'état général du logement.
À notre arrivée, la propreté laissait vraiment à désirer : sanitaires, salles de bain, vaisselle, électroménager, mouchoirs retrouvés sous les lits, hotte aspirante non fonctionnelle et recouverte de graisse… Le ménage était clairement insuffisant pour accueillir des vacanciers.
Concernant l'état de la maison, la liste des désagréments est malheureusement longue :
Moisissures au plafond de la douche.
Porte de douche tenant à peine, avec laquelle nous avons évité de justesse un accident.
Fenêtre de cuisine qui ne ferme pas correctement et reste entrouverte.
Portail cassé qui reste partiellement ouvert.
Lunettes des toilettes jaunies.
Machine à café hors service.
Jardin très mal entretenu.
Étiquettes encore présentes sur les plinthes, donnant une impression de travaux jamais réellement terminés.
Équipements de base absents, notamment balai et aspirateur, pourtant indispensables dans une location.
L'accès au stationnement mérite également d'être signalé. Pouvoir rentrer les véhicules dans la propriété est un véritable avantage, d'autant que les propriétaires sont arrangeants sur ce point et qu'il est très compliqué de stationner à l'extérieur. Cependant, l'allée est tellement détériorée que les véhicules frottent le sol lors du passage.
Un autre point nous a particulièrement surpris : l'entretien du linge de lit.
